Kim Delaney has won Emmy Awards for her performance as the character Detective Diane Russell. She has also starred in series like All My Children Philly CSI: Miami, Army Wives and CSI: Miami. As the sole daughter to a top executive from the United Auto Workers and a housewife, Delaney had a family of four brothers. When she was a kid she was aspired to become a reporter for the court. After graduating from high school, and moving into New York in the 1980s then she started modeling. In her teens, her first role as an actress came in the 1980 soap opera All My Children. Delaney is well-known as an actress who has been involved in numerous TV movies, and dramas. Delaney has not lived a satisfying or happy life in her personal. The talented actress has had to deal with addiction issues in the past as well as two divorces. She lost custody of her son in 2005.
